Whenever some people say they disapprove of IR they talk about cultural differences. But if two people grew up in the same city, went through the same schooling systems basically lived the average life is it really a cultural difference? I understand people having a different language or religion but would there not be differences in two same race people dating? A black man and woman could date and their family could speak different dialects of whatever language, do things differently, practice different religions, all of that. So my true question is do you think referring to the "cultural differences" in IRs is just a cop-out way of saying "I want someone that does all the things I do" and do you think the people that make those comments would date someone of their race but have those same differences?

I would think there would be cultural differences. Take hair for example, weaves, locks, cornrows etc. they're all apart of black culture. Also rap rnb and soul music are all apart of the black culture whether you listen to it or not. I don't think saying that there are cultural differences means they dot date interracially. I really don't think saying there are cultural differences is a way of trying to get out of one

What annoys me it's when people use the cultural differencies argument as a deal breaker.
